i seem to be having a somewhat different problem with my code reader thats
got me stumped,i have a 95 aurora that is emitting a check engine light
and
upon hooking my code reader up it goes first into the "read" mode then the
results are not a code as should be but "error" time and time again,i'm
sure
because i"ve used it many times before that it's hooked up right and never
had this result before,one thing seemed odd and i'm not sure if it did it
when i used the reader before but-with the ignition off first would put
connector in place over car connector,then turn ignition on but not
starting,then would turn unit on and press "link" button to read
codes,this
car as soon as i placed connector in position the code reader would turn
on
without me pressing turn on button,maybe this is normal i can't
remember,anyway it only reads "error" and still after wards the check
engine
light is still on,when i go to erase codes it will work fine. any
ideas???
