When a lot younger I saw something interesting at Polards of Dinnington,
the motorbike wreckers. The guy took a petrol tank from an old BSA Flash
tipped the contents through a filter funnel which let the petrol through
and
left
about three pints of water in the funnel <gasp!> that one must have been
trying to run on a petrol/water mix.
Never had a Bantam, I seemed to get stuck on 4 stroke bikes.
Cub, Norton Dommies, BSA A7s & A10s I wish I had em today(!)
Had a go on a D14/4 once, it seemed a lot lighter & nippier than my cub.
Ah Nostalgia.... it aint what it used to be.
Djimbo.
