206D scrap or repair?

I had hoped that my 206D with 90,000 mls on the clock that I've had from
new 
(Dec2000 X reg) would last me another 5 years at least. My normal garage 
told me they couldn't repair the Suspension radius arm bearings at it
needed 
a specialist Peugeot tool. The Peugeot dealer has quoted me £1100 quid as 
both sides have gone and so has the axle.

Value is £1200.

Any suggestions as to my options greatfully appreciated.
