You won't have a Lambda sensor on a diesel.

But seriously, the only way to find out is to get the codes read. This
does not mean a trip to your local  Pug stealer. Many professional
diagnostic kits will also read most of the HDIs., Just find a local
garage which has one.
The DEC Superscan is but one.
