The light behind the odometer on my 99 sunfire has burned out. The
dealer****p told me that the entire instrument cluster needed to be
reconditioned and recalibrated to the tune of $615. Other than the
odometer, all the other lights on the instrument cluster appear fine. The
odometer appears to be working (I can see the actual mileage if I ****ne a
flashlight at the odometer) other than the backlight. Does anyone know
if
the bulb behind the odometer can be replaced or does the entire cluster
need
to be serviced as the dealer****p said? Thanks!
