Thanks for the info.  The dealer that I talked to was 400 miles away in a 
town we were visiting.  He checked the VIN and said it wasn't covered in
the 
recall....of course that doesn't mean it should not have been recalled.  I

guess it's time to see how much a switch costs....and if I can replace it 
myself.
