I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand AM SE and in May I had a new power steering
pressure hose installed (variable hose).
It immediately began making a "whining" sound whenever the engine was on
and
the mechanic said that is normal and would take about 500 miles for it to
stop. I've driven the car over 1000 miles now and the sound continues.
Is this a problem, or am I worried about nothing?
This is my work car and I'd hate to let something go if it needs
attention.
Any advice appreciated
