funny thing after this long post, I think I made up my mind on a '92 or
'93
964 C4, because 993s are way to far from my budget. And indeed 996 prices
would be easier for me to reach for a comparable mileage. Stutzmann (east
France near German border, see www.sws-stutzmann.com ) told me that it was
not necessarily because of their compared reliability (although he had a
preference...) 996 value was going under 993 value, but also because there
has been so many 996s produced, compared to previous models : the market
is
flooded !
I might go for my dream 964 in September when my garage reopens. I'll let
you know.
About the air/water cooled debate, I'm not one to make up my mind because
of
this, but I definitely think that ****sche's design went wrong in 1998,
especially when looking at the rear which imho belongs to Nissan or the
like. Isn't it design which first made us all so foolishly in love with
****sche ?
