Thanks for your honest opinion, it's appreciated.

Unfortunately I can't afford anything more than ZAR 150 000 (South
African Rand). I have other options such as going for another ****sche
like a 928 944, but to tell you the honest truth, I'd much rather have a
911. I have been a ****sche 911 fan all my life, and I'm probably wrong
in thinking the others aren't real ****sches. If you feel very strong
about not buying this particular car, or feel I might be getting into
something I might not be able to handle, I'll reconsider because I
respect your opinion.

I have to say I love ****sches, but I can't see myself buying anything
other than a 911.

I asked an independent ****sche mechanic (which came highly recommended
from about 4 different ****cshe owners I've spoken to) if he'd have a
thorough look at the car and we agreed that for 2 hours labour he'd do
all the necessary tests to make sure there is nothing wrong with the car
that he can see. Obviously he can't garranty nothing will go wrong in
the first 100miles, but there is no garranties with a 24 year old car.

I can save for a nicer/newer car, but I must admit, that 83 911SC
Cabriolet has woken something inside me, maybe it will go away soon or
maybe never. I feel that I'm ready for a 911.

Please don't hesitate to give me more good advise. I would much rather
have no ****sche and still love them than having a dead (hugely expensive
repair bills) ****sche and possibly thinking less of them.

Thanks again for your honest opinion, it's all I want.
