Good to see this topic. I thought that I'd (:)] bring up S****tomatic,
which was the manual transmission unit [various speed combinations]
with a semiautomatic clutch (used ONLY stop/start; VW counterpart
"autostick****ft" had NO manual clutch).
That was the 1968-1980 one, which most here know.
