vibrations at 3000 rpm

I have another problem with my 85.5 944.  At 3000 rpm (any gear), the gear 
shift vibrates very stongly.  Once past 3000 rpm, the vibration goes away.

Is this a problem with the transmission?  doesn't make sense as it is
every 
gear.
