I get a lot of road noise when I rotate tires. So I dont rotate tires
anymore. Also - ****hs are great wheels, but one wheel just may be a bit
out
of round.
If you're getting vibration - first check is wheel balancing.
I had front end vibrations and it was bad control arm bu****ngs and bad
control arm ball joints.
It could also be the shock turntable on top of the shock.
Jack up front wheel.
Grab it at 9 and 3 o'clock. Shake back and forth. Any play indicates bad
tie rod ball joint or loose wheel bearings.
Grab it at 12 and 6 o'clock. Shake back and forth. Any looseness here is
shock turntable or lose wheel bearings.
To test the control arm ball joint - put 2x4 under the wheel at 6 o'clock
and shack up and down with 2x4. You may have to feel the control arm ball
joint to see if it is moving - it shouldn't.
