Power loss uphill

by OldTau <zwremi@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Aug 27, 2007 at 07:19 PM

Hi,
Thanks to Bill Noble for the help with my last post. I have an 89 944
base model. However, I have another problem I am trying to figure
out. When I come onto big, steeper hills my car starts to bog down
and lose speed. My mechanic told me my clutch is good. Just had
front rotors, calipers and pads replaced. Also just had a new exhaust
put on. Not sure what the problem may be. Its like the car is just
having trouble climing the hill. I have to downshift often on
hills... usually down 2 gears, and this doesn't really help entirely.
Thanks for any help.
