done it on 4 cars, no problems - add adapters to fittings, add proper oil, 
fill.

But - it is quite common for seal on compressor to go bad with time - 
suggest changing front seal on compressor first - contact polarbear for
the 
seal and tools to replace, or just send compressor to them for resealing.
