According to the brochure at last year's Goodwood festival of speed, the
Stig (or the one at the time) is/was a chap by the name of Perry McCarthy,
very
successful, but not particularly famous, s****ts car driver. By s****ts
car,
they mean Le Mans GT and open cl*****. I believe he drove Audi R8's as
well
as tin tops.
