Angus
Have just come back froma few days away to a shed load of emails all
apparently from just the same address
Sorry but despite reading your email again I still don't see what the
benefits of being on Usenet are?
I use GMail to view all the lists I subscribe to and it automatically
files
emails by conversation or thread.
So now I can still follow a conversation thread easily - but can't see
who's
making the comments particularly as despite there being 100's on the list
the main protagonists all seem to be called Nick, Rich or John ;-)
Why do I want to subscribe to usenet? - how does this help me? - why have
we
changed what was working quite well?
Apologies for being a Luddite - normally I am very much in favour of
technological progress - but apart from the attraction of "longer lasting,
high yield, pounds will just drop off, nubile Russian ladies" - I can't
see
a benefit to this one - just an additional layer of anonymity to my
existing
inbound emails.
Can someone sell me the benefits of Usenet please - or can we go back to
before
thanks
Mike W
