removing headlamp mechanism

I have a broken bearing of the headlamp axis. It is mounted in the inside
of
the wheelarch. It is however possible to remove the two bolts that fixes
the
assembly to the inner fender. I can't see how I can remove the headlamp
assembly in order to put in the newe bearing. Do I need to remove the
fender?
