Re: Grey sludge in Coolant of 928

Thanks;
That should be very helpful.
Do you actually know where to get a new one for $700?
I found used for $400, and have been quoted up to $2000 for a new one.
$700 seems like a bargain. With a warranty I would pay that, np.
The master cyl I was referring too is barkes. The owner supplied 2 new
seals, and you can see it leaking from the bottom seal. Looks pretty
easy replacement, but I don't have a shop manual yet.
I think you are right about the stop leak stuff. It is greyish silver,
not brown, so I don't think I have oil getting into coolant, or vice
versa. If I just have to replace a rad, I am ok with that.
I really appreciate the advice.
Thanks a lot!!!!
