My opinion is that a local trimmer is best if one exists. You find out by
asking, either someone who has a car with a nice interior or at a business
where it's likely that they will know of a good trimmer, such as a speed
parts shop or hotrod/custom shop.

If you have the money to go out of town for the work, then attend a car
show
and find a car with upholstery you like and then find out who did the
work.

You can even find a good trimmer in the Yellow Pages, but the key is to
ask
to see his or her previous work that is similar to what you want.

Of course, I could have misunderstood and you are asking for a leather
supplier (and I am assuming that you are doing the work yourself). My
advice would be to ask a local trimmer and purchase the materials through
them. They can give you advice on estimating quantities and evaluating
quality.
