1993 Honda Civic DX mods

hey, i'm new to tis forum....but i had a couple questions about mods i
should do to my car. I have a 93 civic DX, and i'm looking to put a
turbo kit on it. My first question is, would a turbo kit work with an
automatic transmission? I would only do this untill i could afford to
replace the transmission. My other question is, what kind of turbo kit
would anyone recomend for it?...the current engine is a 4 cylinder 1.6
liter. i was hoping not to have to replace it. My last question (sorry
there are so many) is, what OTHER things would i have to do along with
the turbo kit. your input would be greatly appreciated ASAP. Thanx
