If it is not enough, then a bigger engine is next, not a different
cam.

You want this truck to run well, or 'sound good'? If sound good, get a
recording of somethign you like, and play that... If an RV cam is not
hacking it, then nothing else is going to be better...

Stick in a *big* block. A 502 maybe? Or somethign bigger.
