Go into the trunk and unplug the cable. Leave it out for 24 hours.
Plug it back in. There's a little ring you have to twist to remove it
and there's no clearance at all - so you might want to unhook the
sup****t box from the wall (a couple bolts) and take a good look at
least the first time.
