Great and funny comment...waiting for the car to get good and
gone...LOL!  Boy oh boy do I know a bunch of people like that...
Years ago while going through the big "D" (and as the song says I
don't mean Dallas) I had a 57 Golden Hawk that was a true barn find.
I had just gotten it and then lost my storage...and a few other
things...  Realizing that the car would go down real fast sitting
outside, I sold it to a Fighter pilot.  He was so happy he had
pictures of his new shop to show me.  I'm DEAD POSITIVE that car went
to a fine home and is most likely still making the rounds all these
years later.  I lost the guys contact info long ago; wish I could see
that car today.  It was white with gold,  automatic, few options.  He
lived in Alabama (or maybe Georgia?) and was just retiring from the
military..in his early forties IIRC.  This was at least twenty five or
so years ago.
Nice cars, Joe!  Maybe I'll get to see you in Lancaster, we will be
there the whole week.
