    Thanks for the responses. I was going to try cleaning it on the car 
(along with the butterfly valve area) myself, but I got an estimate from 
a local shop of $69.95 to clean both parts. between the toxic solvents 
and the effort, we decided to try them. I was actually getting ready to 
go out and clean it on Sunday, when a thunderstorm blew up out of 
nowhere. I can take a hint.  ;-)
