So how often was the ATF drained/refilled and the strainer changed and
pan/magnets cleaned?

I do not recommend "power flush", but do consider having the pan
dropped, strainer changed, and ATF refilled (including that in the
differential). If this doesn't solve the problem then the ****ft
solenoid needs to be inspected and/or replaced with the valve body
removed. Not hard for those who can change strainers. Or maybe you
just want to go directly ahead with solenoid inspection/replacement.
The transmission otherwise drives fine at this point?
