car does not start - wiring problem

by m <extra.memory@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jan 8, 2008 at 03:53 PM

I have a 2000 Hyundai Sonata which does not run. The mechanic suspects
that some internal wiring has burnt down or shorted. The error codes
cannot be retrieved from the computer with a OBD II scanner and we
have tried it with a new computer too. Can anyone tell me if its
possible to check the entire wiring end to end for connectivity or is
it absolutely not worth it for a car with 96K miles on it. How much
can the cost for this run up to. Thanks.
