license frame question

by "RacerE7773 via CarKB.com" <u40624@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jan 14, 2008 at 02:56 PM

Sorry if this is an old subject. I'm new to the site and already looked
over
alot of posts on license plates, etc.

My question is: I'm hoping to order after some body rust repair in the
Spring
four black powder coated stainless frames for both our cars. I would also
like to order the clear Lexan covers the site offers since in winter we
have
clear covers on the plates (OH has steel plates still, and no amount of
logical letters or emails will get the state to go back to aluminum like
back
in the 70's), but the frames and (flat) Lexan covers would be used only in
decent seaons. Ohio LOVES their road salt; my rockers are proof of that.
Should I go with the frames and covers, or just the frames? Bugs on the
tags
and dirt getting between the frame and tags irritate me somewhat. The cars
are an '03 Impala and '00 Cavalier (not riced; I'm 38 and beyond "trends"
unlike some I know in my area. ;-)). Thanks, everyone.
