If I can see the whole car and not just the headlights, I can make a
better estimate of distance, speed etc. - otherwise a small car close
to me appears the same as a large car farther back.

Plus, being able to identify a car as a Crown Vic may come in handy at
times.

I agree with the heated seats; I have not been lucky enough to own a
car with headlight washers, although I can see that they would be
useful.  I'm in the habit of giving my headlights a swipe with the
squeegee every time I gas up, and the difference is noticeable.
