And just how will the city folks get their food, medicine, clothes,
dry goods, etc. if the 18 wheelers & delivery trucks can't get fuel as
the op proposes??? Electric cars are one thing but electric trucks
won't pull the loads.
In scandinavia a roadtest with an electric powered garbagetruck is
performed,it is using a technique similar to the Toyota Prius and will
pull
at least the full trucks weight and the load at approximately a total of
8-10 000 kilograms.
The truck make many starts and stops and this is just positive cause every
stop generate power to the batterys,for now just one truck is included in
the test but Volvo Truckdivision see a future for more trucks like this
and
not only garbagetrucks.
How to solve it for the bigger trucks well certainley the truckcompanys
work
to find a solution for these also,but the test mentioned above is what I
know for sure is going on right now.
I'm not worried I will have to go back to horses,cause solutions for
trans****t will be solved.
