My problem is sometimes when driving or at idle, my RPM's will go around 2k
and I hit the gas and the RPM's only go to about 3k and the car sputters.
Sometimes the car stalls and when that happens it takes a while to start
the car up. The plugs, wires, filters and pumps have all been checked
and/or replaced. I know a common problem is the distributor but when the
car won't start, there is spark going to the plugs and I can smell fuel.
When the problem starts, I think I am smelling exhaust and there is smoke
that comes out the back end. If you put your hand by the exhaust when the
car is running fine and someone hits thegas, your hand will turn black.
Any ideas on what can be making my car do this? Thank you
