Electrical failure

by "Claude Beaudoin" <cbeaudoin0103@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Nov 6, 2005 at 05:21 PM

I have a '92 Probe V6, I have been experiencing some electrical
problem..symptoms:
1) when depressing brake pedal, the service engine warning light flashes,
there is a voltage flicker and a sudden increase in engine RPM.
2) there is often a no voltage situation in the car and when turning the
ignition and holding it in the start mode for a few seconds it will come
back to life and start, but problem #1 is always present.
3) recently there is no electricity in the car yet the battery is fully
charged, the courtesy light are very dim and flicker. It was as if there

was no battery attached to the car, I even tried boosting the car
thinking
the failure was a battery problem, but there was no change. also at no
time
did a fuse ever blow.

Has anyone experienced something similar? if so what was the faulty
component?

Claude
