Starting ca. 6 months ago, whenever it was cool or moist outside my 97
Probe's belt(s) would squeek. I went to one car shop and the mechanic
said that the belt still looks good and should be tight enough and he
recommended belt dressing. Putting this on, however, didn't change
things.
2 months ago I had the car inspected by another shop and used that
opportunity to also have the belts replaced. Unfortunately the problem
did not go away with this replacement and 1 month ago I returned to the
shop asking them to tighten the belts. The squeeking was gone for maybe
1 week but then returned. What should I do ?
