Hi there fellow ford probe owners. Please give us a hand here. I have
a ford probe 16v Nreg. I'm having some problems starting her. I
parked outside some shops, by the time I got back all of ten minutes.
Put the key in to start and it started ran for around 3 - 6 seconds and
then cut out. It now keeps doing this. Spoke to the local garage and
they said it could be the immobiliser unit. So I change that. Its a
small black box with Temic writen on it. Ref no. KB94 675G2 NO.
3x3998. Tried it again still the same problem. The immboiliser light
stay on while the engine runs, but when it cuts out it starts to flash.
Does anybody have any ideas? Can I hot wire the Immobiliser and does
anyone now how.. Please give me some feedback on this problem..
