I had this same problem happen to me.  On the end of your CV shaft where it
connects with your tire there should be a sliver ring that looks like a
gear.  This is tracked by a sensor for your ABS.  When it is out of sink
with the sensor your ABS will come on when it feels like there is a
problem.  If you take off your tire you will be able to see the sensor, it
should be right in the same place of where the ring would be if the tire
was on.  Make sure that its not covered up by dirt or somehting elce. 
Aslo make sure that the ring is pressed all the way on so that the sensor
can read the rotations of your wheel.  I dont know if this will work for
you exactly, but this is what happened to me.  That damn ring came out of
place, and the same thing might have happened when they fixed your car. 
It wouldent hurt to check it out.
