Really can't decide what Landie to buy next, I need aircon, reasonable
comfort and decent mpg and have a budget of around £10k. It will be 90%
road
and 10% off road use.
Options are
1. D1 300 Tdi - Cheap as chips but getting a bit long in the tooth and
they
rust
2. D2 TD5 - Plenty around and prices low but guzzle diesel and can be
costly
to repair
3. 110 TD5 - Expensive but the most desirable, mpg could be an issue
4. Freelander TD4 Auto - Cheap, comfy, good mpg but a bit limited
off-road.
The heart says a 110 but due to cost the head is saying a well specced
Freelander HSE. With AT tyres, under-body protection and an auto box it is
pretty capable in the rough.
I really really don't know :-(
