Not wi****ng to rain on your parade Tony but I had this problem a few 
months back and thought I'd cured it ... then the water pump seized up 
and sheared off the drive spindle :-(

As a precautionary move I'd recommend removing the belt and checking 
that the water pump bearing isn't on it's way out.

Hope you're right though :-)
