#1, The car was off-topic.  BIG BLOCK, did you happen to see that?  The 
OP should have chosen a.a.f.

#2, It *was* a great newsgroup, and now has been reduced to what you see 
by people like Lou Ellen (wack job) and trolls (that means you, 
crossposting flame-baiter).

#3, The regulars went underground to avoid issue #2, and we have a 
thriving members-only spot.  This is like the front ****ch, as someone 
put it.  Refer to #1 regarding the "subject at hand".
