Ah, EWR- my least favorite air****t.  Just be glad the wind wasn't 
blowing.  Typical delays are hours, if the weather is 'bad' (meaning 
anything other than a dead calm and sun****ne).  

I fly into there about once a month or so.  Last time I was up there, 
several weeks ago, the Airtrain was broken down (one of the trains had 
burned out on the track, thus blocking the whole system).

I remember coming up there before the Airtrain (mid 80's) and having to 
wait outside for the rental car shuttle buses.  Not a lot of fun in 
February when the temperature was -10F.
