Hey Rick, Way too many irons, I haven't been working on any of my
projects. Last night, I did drag home a 94 Stang with a new 12 pt
cage. A buddy moved away and lost storage. Don't know if we are going
to sell the car, hold it for him till he can get it home, or if I am
going to buy it from him (I have a nice 393 small block front my "pro
street stock" that I could use). I am so use to going in circles (dirt
trackin'), I don't know if I could handle driving a straight line.
Back to the hatchet. A buddy of mine bought a Genesis 427 block and a
scat stroker kit. The crank should have been neutral balance, but the
balance shop says that he would have to put a bunch of weight into the
crank to make it work. We thought about using a 428 hatchet to see how
close it would be.
Instead, he called Scat, and they are going to take a look at the
crank and see what is wrong. It was ****pped out yesterday, so we are
now waiting.
Later on,
Mark
