We put 4.30s in it, thinner head gaskets, and milled .030" off the heads.
Tomorrow night should be interesting. .030" off the C460 heads lowered the
chamber 6 CC's. We were just milling off the "O" ring groove.Changing the
head gaskets from .080 to .040 should bring the compression up a point.
Last Friday I took MY Camaro out. First pass I completely lost it. Ended
up
in the other lane:( Couldn't get it to hook up anywhere. Best I got out of
it was 9.54 @[EMAIL PROTECTED]
147 spinning all the way. Hard to imagine this. Second pass
I
ran easy to about the 1,000 ft. mark, then came down on the throttle. It
went sideways, RPM just shot up like I was on wet grass. Ran 9.84 that
pass.
Scary stuff.
