Timing marks.

by "Julian" <jps@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Mar 3, 2007 at 09:32 PM

An easy question, but I'd be grateful for an answer :-)

I've got a 1973 Jensen Interceptor with the 440 engine. I'm trying to find

the timing marks so I can check the timing.

From the left hand side of the engine, if I look down under the AC
compressor I can see some gear casing and a ****tion of the harmonic
balancer, I've cleaned it as best as I can and can't see a thing. On the
right hand side it's just about impossible to see anything down the bottom

due to alternator/water pump etc etc.

Where should I be looking please, and what should I see? I'm starting to
go
mad.

Julian.
