You can make your own timing marks in a more visable location by
setting up a pointer. First you need to make a piston stop I break and
old spark plug apart and tape it to 5/16 thread. then you can use a
5/16 bolt threaded al the way up or 5/16 threaded rod rond of the end
(I coat mine with plastic dip) a couple nuts for locking it. rotate
motor till it stops on the stop paint mark where you want timing mark
to line up!! (compression stroke is best) back off remove stop rotate
past TDC put stop back in and turn motor counterclockwise till it
comes to stop and mark balancer again wher you want mark to line up!!
Now eactly half way between these marks is TDC mark that permanent to
line up to your new pointer and your good!
