Fuel Sending Unit

by Frederic Fuller <res1gtfr@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Mar 9, 2007 at 10:06 PM

I have a 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger. The fuel gauge does not reach full.
I bought a fuel sending unit to replace the original one.The # stamped
on the unit is FG69A. Is this the right unit?
I have seen 2 different units, in one the pipe makes a 45 degree bend,
a dog-leg then straight. The other the pipe is straight back to the
sock.
To remove the fuel unit requires to drop the gas tank, and I
do not want to do that until I know that I have the right fuel sending
  unit.
I have replacement gauges and voltage regulator for the dash
board.
