Found this the other day, not sure what it'd be worth.
1970 Dodge Challenger, 440, 4sp
Here's the nitty gritty:
Originally a 318/auto car, converted to 440/4sp
440 is mildly built and dyno'd at 550 hp.
It has the "Hemi" 18-spline 4-speed gearbox.
8-3/4 rear with 3.91 SG
Interior has been redone completely - looks great
Paint needs to be redone. Was done badly and is now cracking (crows feet)
everywhere.
No rust and only a few minor door dings. Very straight.
Has custom wheels on it, but nothing too exciting - drag stars. Has the
"power bulge" hood, which looks great.
Trim is in decent shape - not perfect, but not mangled.
Owner says engine cost $6000 to build.
He's asking $25,000. Is it worth it? If not, what would a car like this
commonly go for? Don't want to get ripped, but also don't want to let it
get away!
Thanks!
