If you mean the round disk of tire sidewall that bolts the top half 
shaft to the bottom one, they sold me one for my old Dodge truck, at the 
dealer, for $4 if I recall.  The new bolts were extra.

Seems the dimensions haven't changed since the 40's.

You did mention rubber. so it couldn't be one of these steel joints, 
like:

These could be engineered to replace the rag joint, for racing and high 
performance situations.
