from my job I have dealt with techs at the GM dealer who have a diagnostic
unit they can hook up to the DTC hookup and simulate 1/2 tank, 3/4 tank
etc
to fool the truck into thinking there's that amount of gas in it. this is
to check if its your gauge or the sending unit. I'd get that done ASAP.
