Hmmm. So you mean pull the new one in from the wheel toward the front,
right? (That is what I thought, and since the bottom connector needs to
be
removed, that is what makes sense.)
Also, when you say "top bearing", I don't think any bearing needs to be
removed - at least to get access to the turn signal switch. I removed to
wheel, and then the collapsible collar behind it (with a steering wheel
puller), and that was it. There are then 3 screws on a retaining plate
that
appear to be holding down the switch assembly. That should be about all I
have to remove, right?
Or is there actually a bearing that has to come off?
