Thanks for the reply. ( and to dodge-him) I didn't go looking for crap
parts! I was hoping it would be better than the original. Anyway, I got a
nice 'new' original reconditioned Mopar starter and fitted it (with nose
that fits the pocket) and it works very well.
About two days later the ignition stopped making sparks :-( , wiring,
ballast resistors and coil checked out OK so I've got a new ignition
module
coming this week. (fingers crossed)
