Drag racing Question

by "H_wingman@[EMAIL PROTECTED] " <H_wingman@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Aug 25, 2007 at 08:00 PM

Hi all

Just back from the track and wow hot was not the word for today
and the humidity was really bad.

Here is my Question as the humidity went up

(start of the day it was like 89 and 68% later it went to 92 and 70%
then even later it cooled a bit 86 but like 78% humidity)

the car slowed big time even when it started to cool down and the
density alt was going down but humidity still going up it slowed even
more.

Now I under stand the more water the less O2 per amount of air but
this seemed to be even more than normal.

Now also this is the most humid day we have ever run on but wow

I dont have all the numbers in front of me at the moment but

89 deg and 68% time was like 10.657 124.7
second pass same # 10.622 125.6

third pass 92 70% 10.662 123.5 yes we
still won

forth pass 86 78% 10.697 118.7

Other than just too rich and lean it out any
Ideas ?????????????????????/
