Ahhhh, the old debate pitting the politically correct version that says 
"drag racing can only occur on a sanctioned track during a sanctioned
event" 
versus the "a drag race occurs whenever two drivers line up and attempt to

out-accelerate each other" viewpoint.

I go with the latter; a drag race is a drag race whether it happens on the

track, street or a frozen pond.
